We spent 2 nights at Tide Hotel Phuket and really enjoyed it. We had a very nice, spacious, clean and very quiet room. Beautiful swimming pool and quite a few deckchairs to relax on, which is pleasant. The hotel restaurant is good and has a lot of choice on the menu. We also really appreciated the kindness of the person, always helpful and available. I can recommend this hotel to you. A big plus there is a free bus that you can take back into town. Thank you Tide Hotel for a wonderful stay.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICTURES ON BOOKING SITES! We stayed 2 nights at this hotel but were really disappointed in it. The hotel is absolutely not worth the 5 stars. Here are some reasons why: - The reception personnel is not friendly at all. - Food in the restaurant simply is tasteless - Breakfast is very expensive (11 euro p.p.) for a very limited buffet, with bland food. - Our airco was leaking on arrival. After fixing it our room smelled like mold the whole time (see pictures below) - The whole hotel looks like it’s lacking maintenance, with rust spots everywhere, mold on the mattresses near the pool. - Pool is very dirty - You could only order non-premade coffee starting from 10AM - Taxi service is very expensive (use Grab instead) - Nearest grocery store is 15 minutes walk. Overall, not worth the price, If it was possible to rate it lower, I would.

I was expecting more from this hotel as it's a 5 star. It's fine, but the service is basic, the hospitality isn't 5 star standard. The breakfast is very expensive for what you get, very basic selection and not the best quality. There is a charge to use the receptions charger, which after paying so much to stay here was disappointing. Even when I asked for oat milk as I'm allergic to cows milk they said it would be an extra charge for the buffet - which made me feel again like I didn't get my value for money. The rooms are lovely, the balcony is stunning, the pool area and view is beautiful but I think if it's a 5 star and you've paid a lot the hotel should go above and beyond at no extra cost just to create a positive experience. Just to note most of the staff are absolutely lovely.

Hotel is far away from all locations you need to go. They charged you $400 bath for taxi to town for 15 mins drive. You can hear all the noise from outside and hotel next door. We have early morning flight,people still be able to swim at 10:45pm. The food is expensive and buffet is stupid and expensive. There is no Grab available to book at this area since it’s far from city. I never come back this hotel especially I just found out I paid $100 per night instead of $50 like what they are advertising and they said nothing they can do about that.
